Ditzler code IM275 - gray
This gray automotive paint color is most commonly known as Admiralty Gray. The color formulation has been used between 1928 and 1929, primarily by Dodge. We have records of this color appearing only on the Dodge. See the full detailed list below.
IM275 is a paint code for PPG (Pittsburgh Plate Glass) who has been providing automotive paints since 1924 (originally Ditzler Color Company subsidiary acquired in 1928). PPG/Ditzler codes starting with the letters "IM" indicate Ditz-Lac colored lacquers and polychromatics (fine aluminum powder added) and were used before 1940.
