Sales brochure for a 1957, General Electric, model DA-920R Series, Clothes Conditioner / Dryer with automatically controlled high-speed, low temperature drying. The one shown on the cover is pink, inside there is one in turquoise, and on the back is a yellow one. Did you know that the first successful minicomputer, the PDP-8 from DEC starting in 1965 has its case design taken directly from the washers and dryers of the time? The DEC design engineers knew how to design a computer but not the case it was installed in, so they took apart washer and dryer cabinets to use the same techniques. Too bad they didn't use the same paint colors.
