Sales brochure for the 1975 and 1976 GMC Gentleman Jim special edition. The text on the back reads, We'd like to introduce a limited edition vehicle that reflects the richness and style of contemporary taste with its sparkling mirror-like blending of black and gold highlighted by the warm but subtle glow of burnished steel. Gentleman Jim . . . heralds a new era of Pickup luxury featuring special exterior trim stripes, Rally wheels, B.F. Goodrich radial tires (T/A LR60-15), a metallic gold painted grille, upper and lower body side moldings with a gold-keyed stripe and Gentleman Jim's distinctive signature on each rear quarter panel. Inside, expected luxury. Rich vinyl saddle bucket seats, beautiful center console, matching door panels with padded armrests and vinyl door storage pouches are just some of the comfort items you'd expect to find in Gentleman Jim. Door trim panels and dash are accented with simulated wood grain. There's a color-keyed instrument panel pad and a full complement of gauges including a tachometer, deep pile carpeting and sound suppression materials add to your comfort. There is the all weather heater/air-conditioner which enables you to select your climate inside while listening to the sounds you want to hear from the AM/FM stereo radio with 8-track tape. Naturally, Gentleman Jim has power steering, a tilt steering wheel, power brakes, Turbo Hydramatic, and tinted glass. To complete the distinctive image, there are dealer installed accessories including color keyed rug protectors, chrome pickup box tie-down rods, stainless steel splash shields, Series 95 CIBIE High Intensity Quartz-Halogen Passing Beams, a special tailored Gentleman Jim tonneau cover and chrome wheel locking lug nuts.
